14.08.2024 - Board of Directors Now in the Hands of the Fifth Generation

After 30 years in office, Andreas Amiet-Keller hands over to the next generation.

At the annual general assembly, Andreas Amiet-Keller stepped down from the Board of Directors after 30 years of service. CEO Lorenz Amiet takes over his position as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Keller Swiss Group Ltd. and its affiliates. His brother Tobias Amiet assumes the role of Chairman of the Board of Keller Schweiz Holding Ltd. These appointments complete the transition to the fifth generation in the family business founded in 1855.

14.08.2024 - Simplification of the Corporate Structure: Integration of Keller Relocation Ltd.

Following the successful integration of Keller Relocation Ltd.'s business activities into Keller Swiss Group, it was decided at the general assembly to cease operating under the name Keller Relocation Ltd. henceforth.

Both companies are wholly owned by the Amiet-Keller family and Keller Swiss Group Ltd. has already taken over all responsibilities and liabilities from Keller Relocation Ltd. This legal adjustment has no impact on business activities or cooperations with customers and partners. You are kindly requested to update your data base accordingly.

01.10.2023 - Patrick Häsler new Head of Business Move

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Patrick Häsler to Head of Business Moves.

With Patrick Häsler, we have found a successor from our own ranks. As of 1 October, he will take over the management of the Business Moves department. He has already been part of the Keller Swiss Group team since 2017, previously as Account Manager Business Moves. He has been working in the logistics industry for over 17 years.

14.09.2023 - Talent development within the Keller Swiss Group

The best talent development starts in your own company. Know-how is one of the most valuable resources of a company. To ensure that our know-how is retained in the best possible way, we recruit from our own ranks whenever possible.

The most recent example is Marco Christen, who, after many years of working as a packer, joined the move coordination team in the Business Moves department last October. There he can profitably use his experience as a company employee, which leads to very positive feedback from our clientele and the team.

01.07.2023 - Patrick Richter new Head of Operations

We are pleased to have Patrick Richter, an experienced professional from our own ranks, as Head of Operations.

The certified logistics technician with training as a vocational trainer already worked for Keller Swiss Group as deputy head of operations between 2017 and 2023 and has a total of more than 15 years of experience in the logistics industry. Since 1 July, he is responsible for the Zurich, Basel, Bern and Geneva operations.

 

24.01.2023 - Keller Swiss Group receives Sustainability Silver Medal

Keller Swiss Group is proud to report that its commitment to sustainability has been rewarded with the Silver Medal by EcoVadis.

EcoVadis is a third-party assessor of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) performance. Keller Swiss Group has received the Silver Medal and is among the top 21% of all companies ranked by EcoVadis. Read more about our Corporate Social Responsibility here.

16.11.2022 - Successful one-group conference 2022 for Keller Swiss Group

The 2022 one-group conference took place in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Keller Swiss Group is pleased to announce that is has been awarded the Tonnage award and the Partnership award at the one-group Conference 2022 in Dubrovnik. It is thereby recognized as the largest booker of outbound business as well as the strongest supporter of other members within one-group. Keller Swiss Group has also received its 4th consecutive one-group Relocation award, meaning it had the largest turnover in Relocation within one-group.

06.10.2022 - Keller Swiss Group wins Platinum Award again

At the virtually held Cartus global Network Conference, Keller Swiss Group was once again awarded the Platinum Award for outstanding customer care. Cartus is the largest relocation management company worldwide, and the Platinum Award is the highest possible distinction for outstanding customer care.

01.09.2022 - One-group Celebrates its 20th Anniversary

one-group, the premier pan-European relocation and moving solution, presently has 13 members in Europa, covering one country each. The one-group head office is based in Basel, Switzerland, being the helpdesk and single point of contact for any questions regarding relocations from, to or within Europe. Keller Swiss Group, as one of the founding partners, is proud to report that one-group celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2022 and continues to meet the needs of the international community by consistently delivering first-class services throughout Europe.

01.07.2022 - Naomi Reichlin takes over responsibility for the Communications Department

As of 1 July, Naomi Reichlin will take over responsibility for the communications department of the Keller Swiss Group. She has studied political science and has several years of professional experience in the areas of public affairs and communications.

30.05.2022 - Keller Swiss Group at first ever one-group Packing Cup

Organized by Dutch one-group member De Haan, the first one-group packing cup took place in Alblasserdam, Netherlands from 12th to 13th May.

Keller Swiss Group participated by sending two of their best packers, competing against one-group members from England (Robinsons), Hungary (EUROMOVE), Turkey (Asya) and the Netherlands (De Haan). One-group connects companies that offer first-class relocation and moving services throughout Europe.

13.05.2022 - Successful Re-Certification

Keller Swiss Group is pleased to announce their re-certification with the EuRA (European Relocation Association) Global Quality Seal EGQS.

The Global Quality Seal was introduced in 2008 to enable EuRA members offering mobility and related services to demonstrate their dedication to quality and professionalism. Keller Swiss Group has received the certification in December 2017 initially and has already been re-certified once in June 2020. Read more about the certification process here.

01.07.2021 - Tina Stöckli new Chief Financial Officer of Keller Swiss Group

Tina Stöckli has been appointed Chief Financial Officer as of July 1, 2021 and is thus a new member of the Executive Board. Before joining Keller Swiss Group, the graduate business economist worked for several years in the fiduciary industry.

21.06.2021 - Mike Grossniklaus takes over leadership of the relocation department

As of June 1, 2021, Mike Grossniklaus will take over the management of the relocation department of Keller Swiss Group. He has several years of experience in the tourism industry and was most recently managing director of a Swiss tourism company.

20.03.2020 - Dedicated COVID-19 page launched on the Keller Swiss Group website

With the support of its supply chain, Keller Swiss Group has created a dedicated page to provide clients with a global overview of how the pandemic is affecting the moving and relocation business around the world. The page is updated daily and includes an interactive map for up-to-date information on capacity, availability and possible cost implications.

01.07.2019 - New visa requirement for truck drivers from Non-EU/EFTA countries

With immediate effect truck drivers, who transport household goods in and out of Switzerland and are not employed or registered as self-emgployed in an EU/EFTA country, will require a Swiss work visa.

01.02.2019 - Markus Keller new Keller Swiss Group CTO

In order to meet the demands of our clients for state of the art technological solutions, Keller Swiss Group has appointed Markus Keller for the newly created role as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). After completing his IT-degree at the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Markus spent many years working for an American IT corporation.

30.11.2016 - The legendary „sausage-sleigh“ returns home

A more than 100-year-old horse-drawn sleigh, affectionately known as the „sausage-sleigh“, with which Keller once rode out Basel’s nobility on snow during the winter months, is currently on display in the entrance hall at Keller Swiss Group’s headquarters in Basel. The sleigh was last used in the early 20th Century before becoming surplus to requirements when the last horses were retired in 1937. It was later gifted to the Basel Historical Museum. Due to a lack of space, the sleigh is currently on loan from the museum and will be exhibited at Keller Swiss Group’s premises for the foreseeable future.

11.11.2016 - Association of Swiss Moving Companies (VSU) celebrates its centenary

To celebrate its centenary, the Association of Swiss Moving Companies (VSU) organised a gala evening in Lucerne. Keller AG, known as Keller Swiss Group today, was one of the founding members of the association in 1916. Throughout the decades, three generations of the founding Keller family have been elected as Presidents of the Association. To mark the occasion, the VSU has also published a book which can be obtained from the VSU secretary’s office.

06.11.2016 - one-group conference

In order to strengthen the working relationship within the group, executive management and senior staff members from the fifteen one-group companies met at the annual one-group conference, held this year in Viana do Castelo, Portugal. In addition, various workshops and trainings were conducted for all participants.

04.10.2016 - Keller Swiss Group wins prestigious Platinum Award

At the annual Cartus Supplier Conference, Keller Swiss Group was delighted to receive the Platinum Award for outstanding customer services. Cartus is the world’s largest Relocation Management company and this accolade represents Keller Swiss Group’s fourth Platinum Award in the past six years.

01.12.2015 - Alex Putame new Administration Manager

Alex Putame has taken over the responsibility of Keller Swiss Group’s move coordination team from Michel Kader. Mr Putame has a logistics background with several years experience.

18.11.2015 - Keller Swiss Group client event about working permits

Without a seat to spare in the audience, Keller Swiss Group CEO Lorenz Amiet interviewed high profile guests on the topic "Consequences for international employers after the referendum vote against mass immigration".

Bruno Sauter, Head of the Office for Economy and Labour of the canton of Zurich, introduced the topic and explained the limited amount of flexibility the department has.

For the subsequent podium discussion he was joined by Thomas Aeschi, member of the National Council and Claudia Stieger, Global Mobility Leader Switzerland at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Ralph Endres, Managing Partner at expatpartners, rounded up the formal part of the event with a summary of the discussions.

31.07.2022 - Launch of Newsletter Series

Keller Swiss Group has launched their first ever series of Newsletter in May. Aimed at their partners in the relocation and moving industry, the short and straight-to-the point issues inform the recipients of the most recent and relevant developments in the sector and the Swiss Market environment.
